Terms and Conditions of Service and Repair
We will supply a free estimate, this will be an approximate cost to repair the vacuum cleaner within a price range, without dismantling the machine.
We will charge a non-refundable £15.00 fee to provide an accurate quote usually involving the dismantling of some, or all of your machine to determine the parts at fault.
This fee will be waived should the vacuum cleaner be scrapped by us at your request, or upon the acceptance of the subsequent repair.
If a quote is given and the customer decides not to proceed with the repair, the item will not be rebuilt and will be returned in its dismantled state.
Items left will be stored for no longer than 3 months from the date of repair or quote whichever is the latter. After that time they will deemed to be abandoned and will be disposed of, and costs recovered to offset the repair or storage costs.
Once work is agreed upon and the repair is commenced, the full balance will be payable and cancellation will not be possible.
Repairs and service of items will be subject to the warranty terms set out overleaf.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the correct contact details are given when leaving an item at the shop.
Warranty information
Sales of new items
Parts and labour warranty of 12 months.
Sale of reconditioned items
Parts and labour warranty of 3 months, or 12 months if the item is fitted with a new motor.
Repairs Returns and Refunds
Any item returned under warranty will be repaired or replaced at the shops discretion, Refunds will not be given if an item can be repaired, or a suitable replacement found. Repairs will be covered by a 3 month warranty, or if a new part is fitted, that part will be covered by a 12 month warranty.
Items are sold in good faith, and items, or parts, returned which are new, and not faulty will be subject to a restocking fee of 20 % for individual items of a value up to £30, or 10 % for individual items valued at over £30
For non faulty Items returned used, or not in the original packaging, a refund will not be given.
Exclusions
Cables, filters, blockages, belts and hoses are considered consumable items and will be excluded from ALL warranties.
Negligence, accidental damage and useage not in accordance with manufacturers instructions will invalidate the warranty
Use of a vacuum cleaner without a bag, where intended to be used, or filter which causes damage or failure, or water ingress into any machine including damp, will invalidate the warranty.
Warranty periods will not be extended due to any form of lockdown or other event which delays the item from being returned.
Initial warranties will not be reset if additional work is carried out to the machine, i.e. if a subsequent repair is carried out under warranty, the item will continue to be covered by the initial warranty time period.
All warranties are supplied on a return to base basis, i.e. the item must be returned to the shop where the item was sold or repaired. Any return costs i.e. postage or taxi fares will be met by the customer.
